New State Contract Approved by Members By a 61% to 39% vote, SEA members have ratified the 2007-2009 state contract.

SEA members serving on the Ballot Committee counted ballots into the night on July 9th.

The contract will provide members with wage increases of more than 11% (before step increases).  The $0.51 per hour raise to base pay will be effective as of July 6th.
